Mini-bromeliad with narrow, purple-tinted leaves. Leaves have non-lethal spikes, makes it touchable and suitable as container plant. Bright yellow flowers blooms above the foliage. Adds color and interest to the cactus garden. Performs best when planted in well drained soils.
A slow-growing, native tree yucca with good cold hardiness. Eventually grows large and has a tree like trunk. In late spring and into summer, the plants are topped with a cluster of white flowers. The leaves may reach 3' in length and are very stiff with a stout tip. Grows well in any well-drained soil. Heat and drought tolerant.
