This is an exceptionally hardy, fast growing, upright juniper with a narrow to pyramidal growth habit. Very adaptable to drought and windy conditions better than most upright junipers. Good choice for screening, wind breaks, accent and group plantings. Retains excellent green color through the winter.
An evergreen small tree or large shrub that is native to central Texas. It produces purple flowers that have a grape jelly scent which permeates the garden.
