Highly prized for the flowers, this evergreen perennial grows in bold clumps. Long stalked blue-green leaves grow in fan-like formation. The huge bird-like flowers have orange heads with blue tongues. Happy to be grown in a container and equally suited for planting in the landscape. Fertilize liberally for flower production.
Heat tolerant vigorous perennial vine with nearly black foliage. Bears trumpet-shaped lavender to pale purple flowers. Good as a large scale groundcover or when used in mixed container plantings where the foliage can spill over the sides. Grows well in most soils.
