Description
|
This variety of garden fig is especially cold hardy. Celeste has interesting shaped dark green leaves and a bold branching structure making for an interesting winter appearance. Grown for the especially sweet medium sized, purple-brown fruit which is reliably produced twice each year: late spring and late summer. For best fruit production, light annual pruning is needed. Best selection for fresh eating. Requires 100 chilling hours.
